It’s been almost three years since we launched Foxsy—can you believe it?

So much has changed since then. I’ve evolved and grown. We moved our lives and business to a new city. Nearly every workflow and process has been revised and refreshed.

But one thing that has never changed is our commitment to making the world a better, more colorful place through creativity. More than ever, we want to give you the tools to understand your own creative spirit and help you unleash the powerful force of good within you.

I look back on Foxsy’s initial launch and see our small team’s passion in every email, every course, every webpage. I see excitement from folks like you who believed in the vision and joined us in this wild ride.

I’m not going to lie to you, Reader—it’s been a challenging few years.

We’ve spent so long pushing forward, forward, forward, that we haven’t stopped to really appreciate the milestones we’ve blown by.

What began as a modest catalog of 8 courses has grown into a massive resource of 105 classes and counting. We promised you new resources monthly, and we’ve delivered on that in spades, averaging around three classes each month for nearly three years. we’ve reviewed countless submissions from our incredible students through the personalized feedback feature

And that’s not even mentioning the two crown jewels of Foxsy: The Modern Lettering Academy and The Watercolor Academy.

This whole time, I feared that all of this would fall apart at the slightest touch. Every moment felt like I was walking a precipice, one step away from the yawning void of complete and utter failure.

Many nights I have despaired that I was doing everything wrong. When it wasn’t me in the pits, it was Jon. Neither of us wanted to let you all down, and so we’ve kept working. Kept pushing. Kept looking forward to the day when we could rest easy knowing it wasn’t going to fall apart.

I don’t want you to think I didn’t love it, though—on the contrary, I care about Foxsy more than just about anything. Connecting with you throughout the years through the Academies and live classes has been an incredible experience. Your kind words of support and encouragement have kept me going; even on the days when I felt bruised and bloodied.

As we approach our third anniversary, Jon and I have begun talking about the next step. We built something that both of us are proud of, but this stage is coming to an end—so what’s next?

More than ever, we are trying to plan ahead. With the announcement of Savannah’s first child, we realized that flying by the seat of our pants wasn’t going to cut it. So we’ve been slowing down, taking stock, and making big moves.

We’ve decided on a lot of things, but perhaps the most dramatic shift is this:

On November 7th, Foxsy is retiring Lifetime Memberships as a membership option.

What does this mean?

As our resources and offerings have grown, the value of the Lifetime Membership has only gotten more enticing. And it will only continue to get more lopsided, benefiting you, with each passing week.

Anyone who has a Lifetime Membership by Nov 7th will still have permanent access to all the resources, just as promised. But once we shut those doors, that’s that.
